It was Rob's first day at RSM today. We both went into to Rotterdam and I hung out drawing, looking for galleries, taking pictures and exploring the city while Rob did the meet and greet info session orientation thing. I know I had fun.
It was raining of course, but it stopped early on and we had a good day for there. This is this cool skate park I found that's located down the middle of one of the main streets in Rotterdam... cool idea.
Wanted to see the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, which is this awesome art museum in Rotterdam, but it was closed on Mondays... I'll have to go back another day. I spent some time in the park behind it though, and there were a lot of birds who watched me draw and nibbled on my shoe laces.
On our walk home back in Rijswijk, we stopped to take pictures of our local swan family that live in the little stream by our building. So cute.
Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen - closed on mondays! Seems to be that way in Ottawa too!
